The birth of a suit

“Fashion is architecture: it is a matter of proportions” (Coco Chanel)

Creating the perfection

A tailor’s tape, a pair of scissors, some French chalk, needle and thread with a thimble: here are the ingredients of an ancient everlasting formula, which is still modern and up-to-date thanks to its underlying deftness and refined techniques.

This is how a bespoke suit sewn by Dal Cuore Atelier according to the ancient Neapolitan sartorial tradition is born.

Luigi Dalcuore designs any part of the suit by gently marking the cloth with chalk

Each piece is carefully cut out by hand

Tacking of the suit at its very first manufacturing stage before trying it on

When a suit fits the customer perfectly, it is meticulously hand sewn

They are essential to perfect bespoke suits which take the form of the body

The final ironing adds to the forms and natural softness of handmade suits

They put the finishing touch which customizes the suit. Buttons are all hand sewn, one after the other.

A smart label is placed under the collar on the outside of the garment to embellish the suits signed Dalcuore.
